What is it?
Resume Rover is essentially a hosting service. We take your resume, convert it to a PDF document and upload it to our server. You are then given a hyperlink and when someone clicks this link they are instantly taken to your resume in PDF format. We don’t share or distribute your resume, we just provide a clean and convenient way for you to share your resume with your network.
Why use it?
Email attachments can carry viruses, malware, and are a pain to deal with. You have to download the attachment, save it on your hard drive and then remember where you saved it in order to reattach it to an email and pass it along. Also, you can’t attach a file to a Facebook direct message but you can attach a link.
Cost?
With Resume Rover you are essentially renting space on our server coupled with the cost of uploading your file (resume) and providing you with a link. We charge $5.95 per month. Also, if you need to make a change to your resume a there is a $9.95 charge each time we upload a new file. There’s no upload charge for your first resume.
How does Resume Rover add value?
There are a lot of ways that you can get your resume into to PDF format. While we do that for you, that is not where we add value. We add value by creating a link directly to your PDF resume.
